About Jayne, Oliver and Adrian


Jayne was first elected in 1999, and has been re-elected ever since. She as served on a vast number of committees including being a past Chairman of the Democratic Services Committee. She currently serves on the Audit Committee, Policy Review and Performance Committee and the Glamorgan Joint Archives Committee. A proud Chairman of Greenhill Special School, Jayne is also the Shadow Spokeman for Investment and Development.

Adrian was first elected in 2004, and has been re-elected ever since. Adrian is the Leader of the Opposition, and is a member of the Economic Scrutiny Committee, has an observer seat around the Cabinet Table (with speaking rights) and sits on the Glamorgan Joint Archives Committee. As Leader of the Group, Adrian attends a number of briefings and meetings about issues across the City.

Oliver was first elected in 2017 and has hit the ground running. A fluent Welsh Speaker, Oliver has led on a number of debates in the Chamber. He sits on the Environmental Scrutiny Committee and is a proud Governor at Ton yr Ywen Primary School. Oliver has a keen interest in Waste Management and is trying to find solutions to the problems through his role on the committee and through questioning the Cabinet Member.
